About these terms
These terms govern your use of valmoraconsulting.com, operated by Valmora Consulting Inc. (Manitoba, Canada). Consulting engagements themselves are governed by a separate written agreement signed before work begins; if these terms and that agreement conflict, the agreement wins.
Services
Valmora Consulting provides AWS cost analysis and advisory services, including a fixed-fee five-day audit. Any further work is scoped separately after the audit. Scope, deliverables, and timelines for any engagement are defined in the engagement agreement.
The 5× guarantee
For the audit, we guarantee identification of annualized savings opportunities worth at least five times the audit fee (USD $17,500), measured against your billing data for the baseline period: the most recent completed AWS billing month preceding the engagement start date, unless replaced under the engagement agreement. Where an annualized value depends on assumptions, the Audit Report may state a range; the value counted toward the threshold is the lower bound of the stated range. If we do not meet that threshold, the audit fee is refunded in full, automatically and without a claims process. The precise measurement method is written into the engagement agreement, and the signed engagement agreement controls. Identified savings are opportunities; realized savings depend on which recommendations you choose to implement and when.
Fees
Audit fees, and fees for any separately scoped work, are fixed, stated before work begins, and never calculated as a percentage of savings. Fees on this site are in USD unless the engagement agreement states otherwise. Fees exclude applicable taxes.
Access and confidentiality
Audits use one or more read-only, least-privilege IAM roles that your team creates after reviewing the policies. The roles are limited to cost, usage, configuration and utilization metadata and to the billing export files you approve. Access ends when the report is delivered, and your team removes the roles. Confidentiality and AWS access are governed by the signed engagement agreement; an NDA covers scoping conversations only and never includes AWS access.
Deliverables
Rights in engagement deliverables are set out in the engagement agreement. Our underlying methods, templates and tooling remain ours.
