Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Who we are

Valmora Consulting Inc. is an AWS cost optimization consultancy incorporated in Manitoba, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through valmoraconsulting.com, why, and how we handle it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you email us or book a call, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, monthly AWS spend and anything you write. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not follow visitors across days or other websites. It records the page visited, the referring site, approximate location (country, region and city), and device, browser and operating system type. We do not collect payment information through this site.

Why we collect it

We use what you send us only to respond to your inquiry, assess fit and scope a potential engagement, and we use page-view counts only to understand how the site is used. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.

Scheduling a call

When you book a call through our scheduling page, we collect the information you submit there, including your monthly AWS spend, so that we can prepare for and confirm the call. This scheduling flow is operated by our calendar provider, Calendly; their handling of your information is also governed by Calendly's own privacy policy. The booking widget loads from Calendly when you hover over, focus on or tap a booking button, and Calendly may set its own cookies.

Consent

Emailing us or booking a call is your consent to this collection and use. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your information unless we're required to retain it for legal or contractual reasons.

Service providers

Email, scheduling and hosting are handled by reputable third-party providers, which may store data outside Canada. We limit these providers to what is necessary to operate the site and communicate with you.

Client engagement data

If we work together, AWS access is governed by the signed engagement agreement and its data-handling schedule, never by an NDA. During an audit we see billing and cost data (including the billing export files you approve), resource configuration and utilization metrics, not the contents of your applications or data stores. Access ends when the report is delivered, and your team removes the roles.

Retention and safeguards

We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to handle your request or maintain a business relationship, and we protect it with access controls and industry-standard security practices.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
